The purpose of establishing the company:

 1. Reclamation and preparation of desert land with essential infrastructure and cultivation of reclaimed lands.
2. Utilization of modern irrigation methods to conserve groundwater resources.
3. Operation of the latest agricultural machinery and equipment.
4. Breeding of the optimal livestock and poultry breeds.

Location of Activity:

A plot of land with an area of 5000 acres in Sharq El Owainat, Al Wahat Al Dakhla, New Valley by a contract issued by the New Valley governorate on 30/08/2020 and a Handover report on 27/09/2020.

 

Operational Stage :

Description of Production Processes

– After receiving the land from the New Valley, land planning and soil analysis is going to be proceeded
– Drill wells and install center pivot irrigation systems.
– Install generators on the wells and land cultivation,
– followed by harvesting.
– Reclamation and cultivation of 3750 acres with 30 wells, each well is built with an area of 125 acres, and installation of center pivot irrigation systems for various crop cultivation.
– Cultivating 1250 acres of date palms (Barhi, Siwi, Majdool).
* Based on the state’s directives to increase the agricultural area of ​​palm trees, it was agreed to allocate 25% of the area to palm cultivation to produce the finest types of dates (Majdool – Barhi).

The Importance of the Project :

The project contributes to increased development within the New Valley, which in turn supports national development in Egypt, resulting in providing employment opportunities for youth and graduates and supplying agricultural products and strategic crops.

Irrigation System :

(Center pivot Irrigation) – The latest modern irrigation systems to conserve groundwater resources.

Climate (Moderate) :

The New Valley is distinguished by a dry climate in summer, mild in winter, with rare rainfall. The region is known for having the highest annual sunshine duration in the world, which can be utilized as a renewable energy source.

Crops :

Wheat, barley, potatoes, corn, onions, sunflower, peanuts, soybeans, alfalfa, white lupin, date palms, olives.
